ICT in language learning – Interactive applications and authoring tools

Software for language assessment and knowledge control for the web. Creation of interactive quizzes (multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises) for the World Wide Web.Integration with WebPages authoring software.

Objectives

Students at the end of the semester must have basic knowledge of the existing solutions in exercises creation software. They must also be able: - To create online language learning and evaluation activities / quizzes using software designed for this purpose. - Τo create small-scale web sites incorporating language learning and evaluation activities.
