External trade activity management


In this course the importance of extroversion and exporting fir the development of a company is presented. The methodological tool “8 Steps to Exporting” is presented and anlysed and a short introduction to export procedures and processes is offered.


Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the student is expected to: • Understand the meaning and necessity of extroverted on businesses and the Greek economy. • it understands the diversity of international markets and characteristics and to be able to analyze the factors which caused it. • Know the necessary documents, terminology, and procedures necessary to carry out export business activities (Incoterms) • Can analyze and implement the framework for "8 Steps to Export".


Prerequisites

Knowledge of basic principles of Marketing, and Business Administration.


Syllabus

The course contents include the following sections: • Basic Concepts Export and International Trade • In the "8 Steps to export" • Introduction to International Marketing - Research foreign markets • Procedures for financing export commercial activity.
