Agricultural Machinery (Theory)

At the theoretical part of Agricultural Machinery presented and analyzed all individual devices that comprise a tractor or agricultural machinery. The students acquire knowledge of the structure, the morphology and the operation of internal combustion engines, as well as a range of agricultural machinery. Also presented to the students the proper selection of appropriate agricultural machinery and the necessary adjustments in both tractor and agricultural machinery.

Objectives

The aim of the course is to make students familiar with the operation and the use of agricultural machinery in agriculture. Students will be able to understand the establishment, the operation with safely the agricultural tractor and the agricultural machinery. Analyzed concepts such as agricultural tractors and agricultural machinery. Describe basic functions of the agricultural tractor and the agricultural machinery. Solved problems concerning the proper use of the agricultural tractor and the agricultural machinery.

1st Lecture: Internal combustion engines (types, systems and operating characteristics of internal combustion engines used in agriculture. Diesel engines, two stroke - four stroke, water cooled - air cooled. 2nd Lecture:Valve Operation System - Power System (Gasoline Engines - Diesel Engines) - Detailed description of the basic components that make up the supply system. 3rd Lecture: Electrical System (Gasoline Engines - Diesel Engines) - Detailed description of the basic components that make up the electrical system. 4th Lecture: Lubrication system. Detailed description of the basic components that make up the lubrication system. 5th Lecture: Cooling system. Detailed description of the basic components that make up the cooling system. 6th Lecture:Types of agricultural tractors. 7th Lecture: Mechanical transmission system - Clutch mechanism- Gearbox - Differential - Final transmissions. 8th Lecture: Steering - Braking system. 9th Lecture: Soil working machines. 10th Lecture: Rotary plows - Cylinders - Cultivation machines - Parts - Settings. 11th Lecture: Seeder - Linear Seeder - Components - Settings. 12th Lecture: Sprayers - Parts - Settings. 13th Lecture: Mowers machines.
