Plasma Physics

Plasma is an ionized gas characterized as the fourth state of matter and constitutes 90% of the visible matter in the universe. Physics of plasma associated with broad applications the most important of which is the controlled thermonuclear fusion, the success of which will carry full coverage of the world's energy needs. The level of the course is an introduction and includes basic concepts and definitions, motion of charged particles in electromagnetic fields, describing theories plasma wave phenomena, balance and stability and controlled thermonuclear fusion with information in a simple way on current research topics. It presupposes knowledge of general physics, electromagnetism, fluctuations and basic mathematical and includes exercises and problems.
