Communication and Crisis Management


The aim of the course is to understand the basic principles of crisis management and emergency incidents. Using examples the management of a crisis stages (Prevention - Preparation - Response - Recovery) will be presented and analyzed and especially the communication during a crisis. In this context, we will focus on different ways and means that should be used to manage a crisis communication. Finally, individual issues that refer and address issues will be presented such as relations with the community with particular emphasis on management and handling conflict situations.
