Globalization and Third World


The main purpose of the course is to acquaint the student with the concept of globalization, its forms, the impact in many areas, particularly that of the economy as well as the effects it has, especially in the third world.More particular the course clarifies the concept of globalization and after a brief historical overview refers to the internationalization of the economy, the instability of the global system, raises the question on whether or not globalization is a development of the system and shows the migration in the era of globalization, trade and direct foreign investment, the role of multinationals in globalization and the nature of these companies, and finally the role of the state in globalization, globalization in relation to democracy and work in the era of globalization.
